After using Bing for the last 2 weeks, it has made me love Google even more! I may be a bit biased because of my simple taste in websites however there are a few points I would like to go over.

First off I am not a big fan of the Bing.com splash page. Now I didn’t actually try to change the backgrounds etc but I wasn’t too excited to try.

Next the thumbnails that show up in every search is quiet frankly a bit annoying. If I wanted to search for images I would use the image search feature. Instead they just include it as part of the normal text search.

I found that many of the search results lacked the results I needed. I couldn’t find the exact type of information that I was looking for in most my searches. But there may be a chance I am expecting too much from a new search engine. A search engine that hasn’t had a chance to truly crawl the web in a way Google has.

I am looking forward to seeing how well Bing will hold up against Google. As for me they will have to make some more improvements before I even consider using them again.
