I would have to say after doing more testing and research since this post. For some sites it works great it’s really preference. If you are really curious you should try to install and see if you like it or not.

I’m still deciding on disqus for our website but it looks like its not the best option if i can’t store my data locally… also, we do some pretty complex stuff with our coments… better to build it ourselves!

Ya some people really like it Melanie I may consider trying to use it again. The best thing to do would be to setup a test blog and messing with their plugin and comment system
